Sara Ramirez

Sara Ramirez was born in Mexico. She is an American Mexican actor. She sings as well. When she was a kid, Sara was racially taunted by a lot of Americans. It was during her ninth grade when she began to gain confidence following her acclaim at an audition. The experience not only increased her confidence but was also a change in the direction she pursued in her professional career. She was a graduate of New York's Julliard School at the age of 22. When she was 23, her first Broadway performance with Paul Simon's The Capeman, and her debut in the film You've got Mail were both her big breaks. However her greatest breakthrough came when she appeared in the role of The Lady of The Lake in the original Broadway show Spamalot receiving not just an award called the Tony Award for her performance as well as a lot of critical praise. The following year, in 2007, she was a cast member in the ABC series Grey's Anatomy and became more popular. The actress is also a renowned singer and has published an extended version of her play. She has also spoken out in support of LGBT concerns.
