Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw, also known as Elizabeth Alice MacGraw, is an American author and designer who has received numerous awards for her writing and design. She is a proponent of human rights for animals. She is renowned for her movies such as Love Story (1970) Goodbye Columbus (1969) as well as The Getaway (1972). When she was in New York, she was born into an creative family. She began working as a photography assistant and after that she moved on to modeling and acting. The actress was awarded her the Golden Globe Award in 1990 for being a promising young actress. MacGraw was a household name following the success of her 1970 film Love Story. She was considered for nomination to an Academy Award and won a Golden Globe. With just three movies she was the highest-rated female box-office star in the entire world. Her handprints, autograph and footprints were immortalized in 1972 by Grauman's Chinese Theater. She has starred in several other films including The Getaway Convoy Players and television miniseries The Winds of War among many others. Moving Pictures is her autobiography which was published in the year 1991. MacGraw got married to three different people.
