Zoe-perry
Perry was born July 25, 1968 in Chicago in Illinois. She was the daughter of Laurie Metcalf Perry and Jeff Perry. Her first appearance was in the television screen in the role of Jackie Harris, a character which was played by her mother in Roseanne, an ABC sitcom Roseanne. But her parents would not allow her to act until she was an adult, for fear of the effects stress would affect their child. Perry was shy during high school and did not act. Her first acting experience was at Northwestern University to gain friends as she moved from Boston University. Perry moved to New York, where she landed small roles in series such as Law & Order: Criminal Intent. The feeling of homesickness caused Perry back to California and theater roles were in demand. The Other Place was performed by her and her mom in 2013 on Broadway in 2013. Perry was in the show with their father Kevin McKidd and Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize winning drama Anna Christie in 2015 at the Odyssey Theatre Ensemble, West Los Angeles. Perry starred in nine episodes of ABC's show The Family. Her father played her character in her role on the ABC Drama Scandal. She also played the young Mary Cooper in Young Sheldon which was an CBS spin-off of The Big Bang Theory. The role was selected via auditions though she had a close association with it.
