Luciana was brought up to be a child in Rome by her parents. Luciana's dad was Manlio Paoluzzi an Italian army officer and her mother was Maria Rota Paoluzzi who was the one of Benito's lovers. Her siblings are unknown. Luciana graduated from a high school in the local area in 1955. She then studied naval engineering in Milan in the Scientific Academy of Milan. Luciana was the only female in her class, was the first to be a graduate. After two years of modeling she landed a role in Three Coins in the Fountain. It was her first role. Her initial husband was Brett Halsey who is also an actor. They got married in 1960 and made the movie Return to the Peyton Palace. Luciana and Charles were blessed with a son named Charles 13 June 1961. However, the couple split up a year after his birth. Luciana then gained custody. Luciana was an actress as well as producer was a part of Tony Athony's band between 1962 and in 1970. Tony Athony had been impressed by the performance of Luciana on Green Slime.
