Teresa Palmer

Teresa Palmer is a model and American actress with Australian origins. She is best known for her role in the film '2:37' for which she was nominated for an Australian Film Institute Award for Best Lead Actress. Because of the separation of her parents, she went through an extremely difficult childhood, and was raised partly by her father, and partly her mother. To secure her financially secure life, she dropped out of university and decided to pursue an acting career as an extra. She ultimately relocated to Hollywood and established herself following first being disqualified and failed in the field of box office. Her performance received mixed reviews as a result of which she had to struggle to survive in the competitive world of entertainment. Alongside Australian actors Tahyna tozzi and Nathalie Kelley, she co-founded Avakea Productions and began training in martial arts to gain roles in adventure film. In addition, she became the spokesperson for the "Modern Darling" collection by Sydney jeweller Jan Logan. Mark Webber, an actor and director, with whom she shares two children as well as a step-son from his past romance. Following a lengthy struggle, she's in the midst of her career and has a bright future ahead.
